1) To turn the thermometer on or off, hold down the button for 2 seconds
2) The thermometer will automatically turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity. To switch between Fahrenheit and Celcius, quickly press the button three times.
3) Submerge thermometer in water and wait for temperature to stabilize.M
4) If you see the error code HHH, it means the temperature is above 130°F. Error code LLL means the temperature is below -30 degrees F.
